Link Senior Development and Insight Senior Living Receive Approval for Santa Clarita, California Assisted Living Community
Link Senior Development and Insight Senior Living received approval from the Santa Clarita Planning Commission to move forward on the development of a 140-unit Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care facility in the Sand Canyon Plaza mixed-use development in the Canyon Country neighborhood in Santa Clarita, California. Located on the corner of Sand Canyon and Soledad Road, Sand Canyon Plaza is a 38-acre fully-approved master planned community located in the affluent Los Angeles submarket of Santa Clarita with a complementary mix of uses including garden apartments, townhomes, single family detached homes, assisted living and a grocery-anchored neighborhood retail center.
Ativo Senior Living of Santa Clarita will be collocated in the commercial district with dedicated parking, direct access to a comprehensive trail system, and a quick walk to high end retail offerings. The three-story community will include large and well-appointed studio to two-bedroom apartments, extensive amenity offerings including multiple dining venues, and unobstructed views of Angeles National Forest.
Grading to begin on the Sand Canyon Plaza development in late-2021 with Ativo Senior Living of Santa Clarita breaking ground in late-2022 for a mid-2024 opening.
