Owner/CEO

As founder, CEO and President of Link Development, LLC, Mr. Ziebart brings more than 22 years of executive experience within the real estate industry.  Starting in 1990’s, he was instrumental in the development and construction of more than 200 residential homes in Oregon’s Willamette Valley.

By the late 1990’s Mr. Ziebart was able to parlay his residential experience and success into the senior housing industry and, in 2002 formed a successful partnership with a Portland, Oregon investment group to purchase and develop senior housing properties.

Before beginning Link Development, LLC., Mr. Ziebart developed numerous senior housing projects that have included independent retirement communities, assisted living, and memory care communities. Ranging in project size between $5 Million upward towards $30 Million dollars, some examples of Mr. Ziebart’s successful development projects include:

  • $30 million Independent and Assisted Living Community  ~ Bozeman, MT
  • $18 million Independent, Assisted and Memory Care Community  ~ Orchards, WA
  • $16 million Skilled Nursing-ICF addition and remodel ~ Portland, OR
  • $15 million acquisition and remodel of Continuing Care Community ~  Portland, OR

  • $7 million acquisition of Assisted Living Community ~ La Conner, WA

Mr. Ziebart takes a “hands on” approach to every development project that he is involved with and is entrenched with all aspects of the process, including:

  • Site assessment, negotiation, and pre-development studies
  • Entitlement process
  • Economic assessment,  including pro forma and budget creation, market analysis, lender and investor relations
  • Project design, construction management and relationship management among architects, general contractors, engineers and other 3rd parties  associations

Mr. Ziebart brings to the table a wide range of detailed experience as a developer, owner, and operator within the full spectrum of senior housing property types. In having such a unique and diverse professional background, Mr. Ziebart has put himself in a rare position to be able to fully understand the entire development process, beginning to end, from various vantage points. From preliminary property target acquisitioning, to entitlement, to construction, to financing, to asset management, Mr. Ziebart has the capacity, knowledge and global experience to strategically navigate through the many complexities and potential obstacles involved throughout development process of a senior housing project.
